Larry Rice

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, (918) 256-5555 ------ Larry Lee Alic Rice, 73 year old resident of Big Cabin (Rock Creek) died early Sunday, September 27, 2015 at his home. He was born on May 16, 1942 in Tulsa to Clyde Alic Rice and Margaret Kay (Hamilton) Rice. He graduated high school from Tulsa Will Rogers. Larry served his country in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1969, he was a 2nd Petty Officer, then served 8 years in the reserves with the Seabees. He worked for Southwestern Bell for 31 years and was a foreman of Cable Repair. After his retirement Larry enjoyed building street rods. The family includes: his children, Terry Lee Rice of Tulsa, Russell J. Rice of Owasso and Stephanie Renee Moore of Anna, Texas; a sister Rosa Lea Mooney of Davis, Michigan; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Russell Lee Rice. Friends and family will have a memorial service on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the home on 35 Rock Creek, Big Cabin, OK 74332.
