Laura Shearhart

Laura Shearhart age 79 of Vinita, OK died Thursday, July 17, 2008 in the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. The daughter of Bessie Lee ( Smith ) Millhollon and J. D. "Dick" Millhollon, she was born on July 12, 1929 west of White Oak, OK. She was the youngest of six daughters: Ida Stewart, Anna Hudson, Martha Adams, Willa Millhollon, and Dolly Byrond. Laura married Donald L. Shearhart and he preceded her in death. She worked for the First National Bank in many different positions. Laura was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church for 63 years. Surviving are two sons; Gary Carnes and Robert Shearhart 8 grandchildren Heather, Michael, Clay, Christy, Shawn, Pat, Travis, and Mike 10 great grandchildren And her only surviving sister Willa Millhollon The funeral will be at 2 PM on Wednesday July 23, 2008 in the Luginbuel Chapel with Reverend Skip McClain and Reverend Ryan Goodrich officiating. The burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, OK. The services are under the directions of the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita, OK.
