Leon Williams

Leon Williams, age 79 of Langley, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Leon was born in Montgomery, Alabama on September 9, 1933 to George and Anna Williams. On October 21, 1950 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Irene Clark. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage before her passing in 2012. Leon loved John Deere Tractors, working on lawn mowers, gardening, his dogs, and attending Disney Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his children: Pamela Paris of Kansas City, KS, Mark "Bronc" Williams and wife Rose of Kansas City, KS, Marty Williams and wife Vicki of Kansas City, KS, and Amy Katz and husband Michael of Denver, CO, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Irene Williams, sister Rose Walker, and son Leon Williams, Jr. Funeral services will be 1p.m., Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Disney Assembly of God Church with Pastor Daryl Lee officiating.
