Leroy Ross

LeRoy completed his education in Lenapah public schools. He married Ruby Cherry and to that union a daughter, Constance Ross, was born. LeRoy later married Willa Mae Palmer and was a devoted husband for 25 years upon his death. LeRoy served in the military during World War II where he received an honorable discharge. He later joined Westside Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Michael Diggs. He is survived by his wife, Willa, of Dewey, and one daughter, Constance Ross of Wichita, Kansas; a sister, Christine Cody of Wichita; a niece, Deloris Cody, also of Wichita; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
