Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Lillian Claudine Johnston, age 89, Claremore, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Claremore Nursing Center.
She was born June 19, 1929 in Kenwood, OK, to the late William Beecher Jackson and Cora Lee Ketcher Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Edward Dean Bishop; three sisters, Clara Salyers, Elizabeth Landrum, Theresa Murray.
Claudine worked as a machine operator for Heston Farming Equipment, Claremore. She retired after several years of working at Newpar Machine Works. Claudine enjoyed spending time with her family and relatives; she loved to cooking for people and the Pacific Ocean in Washington.
Survivors include one son, Steven Bishop, Claremore; two daughters, Regina Tucker, Tahlequah; and Linda Arr and husband, Robert, Salina; one brother Jack Jackson and wife Peggy, Bartlesville, eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great- great grandchild.
A visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm, Thursday, March 28, 2019 both at the Grove Worley - Luginbuel Funeral Home. Pastor Sean Worley will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Buzzard Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma.
