Lillie Runabout

Lillie Mae Runabout, resident of Jay, OK, passed away at the Integris Grove General Hospital Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the age of 84. Lillie was born on June 17, 1927 in Kansas, OK to Samuel and Lizzie (Youngbird) Davis. Mrs. Runabout was a homemaker who enjoyed taking drives in the country, going to church whenever the doors were opened but most of all she loved to be around her family. She was known throughout her family as cooking the best chicken and dumplings around. She will be greatly missed. Lillie married Mike Hilderbrand and to this union they had one son. After the death of her husband she married Houston Sixkiller and to this union they had eight children. Upon the death of Mr. Sixkiller she later wed John Lee Runabout. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Sarah Hider, Lottie Foreman, and Minnie Watermelon; three brothers: Joe Davis, Charley Davis and Quentin Davis; and two children Sammy Sixkiller and Ricky Sixkiller. Survivors include her children: Joe Hilderbrand of Noble, OK; Johnny Sixkiller of Jay, OK; Josie Jones of Jay, OK; Priscilla Bell of Grove, OK; Kenneth Sixkiller of Grove, OK; and Dennis Sixkiller of Tahlequah, OK; and three step children: Janice Sixkiller, Patsy Guess, and Susan Foreman. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Services for Lillie will be 2:00 PM, Friday, January 27, 2011 at the Piney Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Pickup, officiating and Rev. Jess Jones, assisting. Interment will follow in the Piney Cemetery in Jay, OK. Visitation will be from 6PM to 8PM on Thursday evening, January 26, 2011 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.
