Linda Mason

Linda Diane (Thompson) Mason, age 64, died on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Grove, Oklahoma. Linda was the daughter of Harold and Ferne Belle (Peterson) Thompson. Linda was born on October 29, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a graduate of South East High School in Kansas City in 1965. Linda then went to nursing school and became a LPN, working at St. John's Hospital, Anderson Nursing Home and Grove Nursing Center during her nursing career. Linda was united in marriage to Gerald Lee Mason on August 19, 1982. Linda was very family oriented; she loved animals, enjoyed cooking, playing the piano and dancing. Linda was of the Lutheran belief. Linda was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves many loving memories with her family, husband Gerald Lee Mason, of Grove; two daughters Jana Morris of Grove, Oklahoma and Lisa Macy and husband Mark who lives in Seneca, Missouri; one brother Harold Thompson of Joplin, Missouri; two step children Perry Mason and his wife Karen of Stella, Missouri and Penny Hill and her husband Tom of Bentonville, Arkansas; and four grandchildren, Hailey and Ashley Morris and Madison and Darin Macy; and three step-grandchildren, Miranda, Katie, and Blayne. Viewing will be Tuesday 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday April 11, 2012 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Doug Rainbolt. Honorary Casket bearers will be Shawn Shearer, Mark Macy, Brian Morris, Greg Morris, Darrell Armstrong, Hal Thompson.
