Lisa Lovelady

Lisa Lee Lovelady, 55 of Grove, joined her mom, dad, and two brothers in heaven on Sunday, September 5, 2021.

Lisa was born in Smithville, MO on October 24, 1965 to Daryl and Judy Gray. She was united in marriage to Steve Lovelady on December 29, 1984. She enjoyed traveling with Steve and her children, and was always up for an adventure. She cherished her friends and family, and was the type of person who could make friends wherever she went. She had a fun, loving, and upbeat personality that was loved by everyone. Her smile and inner beauty was contagious. Lisa was an outstanding teacher and educator, serving the Grove community for 34 years. She loved music and shared her love of music with everyone, she also provided lessons for many of her students! Her music concerts were always a highlight of the year.  Not only did Lisa love teaching, she also loved cooking, playing Candy Crush, and online shopping. But her very favorite things were spending time with her grandbabies and spoiling them rotten, as well as being a wonderful and caring wife to Steve.

Survivors include her husband: Steve Lovelady of Grove, 2 children: Kyle Lovelady and wife Hayley of Derby, Ks, Emily Reed and husband Jeff of Leavenworth, KS, one brother: Marc Gray and wife Tammy of Edmond, 4 grandchildren: Brantley, Emma, Luke, and Erin, and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved so much.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Judy and Daryl Gray, and brothers Phil and Jarrell Gray.

Memorial services are scheduled for 10 AM, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Grove High School Performing Arts Center.  Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
