Lori Rott

Lori Annette Rott, 54 of Oologah passed away at her home, surrounded by family on August 3, 2013. Lori was born on August 12, 1958 in Las Vegas, NV to Frank and Judith Miller. Lori was raised in Talequah, Ok and later moved to Oologah, Ok when she married Larry Rott on June 1, 1984. Lori worked by Larry's side on their Ranch in Oologah for years. She also helped on a Farm they owned in Edna, Kansas. Lori and Larry raised 3 daughters Amy Gorry, Michaela Rott and Nicole Rott. She was very involved with her family and adored her 3 Granddaughters Aiden and Madison McCumber and Abigail Ayers. Lori's other interest included sewing, decorating, gardening, reading, drawing, dollhouses, antiquing, spending time with her dogs, sitting on the front porch of their Ranch enjoying the outdoors and traveling. And she was also an excellent cook, hosting years of dinners and celebrations. Lori attended Rogers State University and completed her Associates Degree in Nursing. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA in 1994, and worked for several years as a Registered Nurse in Tulsa and Claremore. Lori is survived by her husband, Larry Rott and daughters, Amy, Michaela and Nicole. Lori was preceded in death by her parents.
