Lorie Ann Meyer

Lorie Ann Meyer (Barnes) passed away on July 16, 2023, in Grove, Oklahoma. She was born on December 21, 1967, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Lorie was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother.

Lorie had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. She had a keen eye for finding hidden treasures while thrifting and would often uncover gems that brightened her home. She also enjoyed cooking and listening to music. Lorie spent years of her life working for non-profits providing essential services and opportunities for families in need. 

Lorie will be dearly missed by her surviving family members and friends. She is survived by her father Dennis Barnes, mother Loretta Wallace, daughters Samantha Long, Sarah Long, Alison Stevens, sister Andrea Barnes, brother Dennis Barnes Jr., sister Melisa Hamilton, niece Willow Hamilton, nephew Dawson Hamilton, as well as her grandchildren Asher Long, Hayven Long, Adrien Foulds, Micah Scarbrough, and Fae Geruntho. Lorie shared a deep connection with her pets, Rocky and Goldie, they brought comfort and companionship to her life.
