Arrangements have been entrusted to Benjamin Funeral Service. Family will be receiving friends from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Benjamin Funeral Service. Louetta Grace Gaut, 68, passed away August 4, 2015 at the St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa. She was born December 2, 1946 in Craig County, OK on the Vandover place to Walter Morris and Vera Irene (Dick) Doan. She was educated in the Centralia and Bluejacket Schools. Louetta worked at Eastern State Hospital as a food service supervisor. She married Philip Gaut on October 1991 in Chetopa, Kansas. Louetta was a member of the Nowata First Church of God. She had a strong faith in Jesus and often said "Why worry, God is awake 24 hours a day, seven days a week, why worry about tomorrow." Louetta enjoyed doing crafts, gardening, and walking but especially enjoyed watching birds and cooking. Louetta was a very loving and kind person that held a special place in her heart for all her family. She will be missed by all who knew her. Louetta is survived by her husband, Philip of the home, two children, Vera Price and husband Bill of Chetopa, KS, Stacy McGuirk of Joplin, MO; three sisters, Donna LaPee, Rosetta Doan, Rita McGuirk; three grandchildren, Jessica Barnes and husband Chuck, Amanda Josey and husband Matthew, David Price; three great-grandchildren, Lilly Barnes, Adeline (Addie) Barnes, Rylan Josey. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Vera Doan, a brother Albert Louis Doan; two sisters, Ruby Jane Doan, Wilma McGuirk, and a grandson, Justin Maxwell.
