Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinita, OK 918-256-5555.......On Sunday, June 17, 2018, L. Ahniwake Fleming, of Adelphi, MD. Beloved wife of the late Joe Lindsey Fleming. Cherished mother of Susie (Bobby) Harjo; Frank (RoseMarie); R. Lee; and Joe Lindsey Jr. Fleming. Sister of Thomas Gann Miller. Daughter of the late Robert Lee Miller and Susie Hilderbrand. She is predeceased by her infant daughter and her siblings James Andrew Miller; Jackson Lee; John Avery Miller; Quanah Lee and Martha Ann Miller. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She had a love for education and was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years. A Cherokee Nation citizen, she graduated in 1939 from Chilocco Indian School in Oklahoma where she gained lifelong sisters and brothers of the heart. She also held degrees from Oklahoma State University and University of Maryland. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2016 at Luginbuel Funeral Home 332 N. Scraper, Vinita, Oklahoma 74301.
