Lula Forman

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK....918-253-3222.....Lula Jean Forman, age 81, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Quail Ridge Nursing Center in Colcord, OK. Lula was born on February 9, 1934 in Delaware County, Oklahoma to the late Willard Botts and Sarah Davis. Lula attended school in the Clouds Creek area and also Oaks Mission in Oaks, OK. She married Turner Forman on October 13, 1956 and the couple resided in Kansas City and Denver until making to their permanent home in and around the Jay and Colcord area. Lula started to work for the Peterson Farms in the mid-1970s where she worked her way up to supervisor until retiring in the mid-1990s. Lula enjoyed crocheting, flowers and watching T.V., but most of all she loved to be with her family especially her grandkids. She will be greatly missed. Lula is survived by four children: Floyd Forman and wife Kaye of Jay, OK, Tim Forman and wife Tammy of Kansas, OK, Kevin Forman and wife Tammy of Jay, OK, and Sharon Janes and husband Bill of Colcord, OK; two brothers: Levi Colston and wife Janis of Colcord, OK, and Billy Foreman of Twin Oaks, OK; one sister Amy Proctor and husband Stanley of Kenwood, OK; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers: Fallen Buzzard, and Yellowbird Buzzard; and four sisters: Ollie Buzzard, Lilly Ann Kingfisher, Jackie Sapp, and Luella Davidson. Funeral services will be held at the New Clouds Creek Church on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 2PM with Rev. Eric Creekkiller, presiding. Burial will follow at Clouds Creek Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 6PM to 8PM at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK. Casketbearers will be Joseph Beck, Rodney Shotpouch, Dustin McKibben, Mike Forman, and Barry Colston. Honorary casketbearers will be Eric Hayes and Tavian Owl.
