Lula Mae (Roy) Lamb departed this world for her eternal home on February 13, 2021.
Lula was born on April 16, 1935 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Dennis and Trennie (Pennel) Roy. Lula spent much of her childhood growing up in Lincoln, Arkansas before moving to Miami, Oklahoma. She met, fell in love, and married Claud Lamb on February 10, 1951. In 1988, Claud and Lula moved to Grove. Lula can best be described as a faithful servant. If there was someone sick who need to be visited, Lula was on the job! If there was a meal that needed to be prepared for others, Lula was on the job! While she had her “serious side” and believed in being straight forward and direct, she simply loved helping others.
Lula was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Edith. She is survived by her husband Claud, her daughter Sharon Lamb of Tulsa, her son Terry Lamb of Grove, three grandchildren; Doug Harrison, Starla Ward (Joey) and Matt Lamb and two great grandchildren; Simon Ward and Brooklynn Ward, two brothers Dennis Roy and Jack Roy.
A visitation will be held from 2-6 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at GAR Cemetery in Miami, Oklahoma.
