Benjamin Funeral Service, Nowata, OK (918)273-2700***Marcia Kay (yelton) Postrach passed from this life Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK due to complications from a fire in her home 12/28/2017. Marci was born May 22, 1956 in Nowata, OK to Charles Russell Yelton and Helen Jo (turner) Yelton. Marci was raised on a small farm NW of Delaware, OK, where she lived until graduating with her 13 fellow classmates, the Class of 1974, from Delaware High School. During her school years Marci was very active in 4-H, achieving the honor of being a National 4-H winner in dog care and training. She also participated in softball and other various school activities. She was raised in the First Baptist Church of Delaware, where at any early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. During her teenage years she began grooming dogs, and that became a lifetime profession. She also worked as a waitress at Ricardo's, Monterey's, and Dinks. Marci had been a resident of Bartlesville, OK for the past 35 years. Marci was predeceased by her parents, grandparents, Ruford and Lena Yelton, and Arthur and Anabel Turner. She is survived by her brother, David Yelton and his wife Lavah, Frederick, CO and her sister, Shari Roebuck and her husband Melvin, Nowata, OK, 2 nephews, Will Yelton and his wife Brandy, Houston, TX, Andrew Yelton and his wife Katie, Ft.Worth, TX, niece, Holly Nichols and her husband Mac of Dallas, TX and great nieces Ella Kate Nichols and Nora Kate Yelton, great nephew William Nichols. Also, her paternal uncle, Harold Yelton (Peggy) of Bartlesville, her maternal aunts Ann Glynn of Glen Allen, VA, and Lee McConnell of Fayetteville, AR and her maternal uncle Steve Turner (Susie) Aurora, TX. Also her 15 Yelton cousins and her 9 Turner cousins.
