Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK....918-253-3222...Margaret Irene Duffield, passed away at Monroe Manor in Jay, OK on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the age of 81. Irene was born on July 4, 1933 in Pryor, OK, the daughter of the late Omer Evans and Ethel (Vaughn) Evans. Irene married Jop Carol Duffield on July 15, 1953 and they were married for 51 years. Irene raised six children and maintained the home on their family ranch. Irene enjoyed watching birds, gardening, maintaining her fruit trees and canning but most of all she loved to be with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers Glenn Evans and Ramon Evans, and two sisters Bernice MacAnally and Jean Frank. She is survived by her three sons: Robert Duffield and his wife Lesa of Grove, OK, Jimmy Duffield and his wife Billie of Topsy, OK, and John Duffield of Topsy, OK; three daughters: Shirley Mendoza and her husband Vince of Strang, OK, Sandi Stark and her husband Mike of Wyandotte, OK, and Leanna Buske and her husband Rick of Topsy, OK; 12 grand children, Tracy Stack and husband Roger, of Coweta, OK, Joey Duffield and wife Valerie of Eucha, OK Donny Steinburg, of Topsy, OK, Brandon Steinburg of Strang, OK, Billy Duffield, of Topsy, OK, Jimmy Duffield of Topsy, OK, Dylan Buske of Topsy, OK, Caylee Stark, of Wyandotte, OK, Hanna Buske of Topsy, OK, Wyatt Buske of Topsy, OK, and J.J. Gann of Jay, OK; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Jay, OK on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 2PM with Pastor Johnnie Faught, presiding. The burial will follow at Mose Ridge Cemetery in Topsy, OK. The family will greet friends on Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 6PM to 8PM at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, OK.
