Margaret Leffingwell

Margaret Lucille Leffingwell, 87, died Thursday, February 27, 2008 in Langley, Oklahoma. Margaret was born in Scott City, Kansas on October 17, 1920, to Loren M. and Gertrude (Biggs) Duncan. Later she married Dee Leffingwell, who preceded her in death in 1964. . Margaret lived the majority of her life in Southeastern Kansas. Shr graduated from high school in Caney, Kansas and later moved to Neodesha. She spent much of her working life at the ARCO warehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Margaret is survived by three children; Larry Leffingwell of Magnolia Texas; Gayle Young of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Gleta Leffingwell Elmore of Dewey, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her sister, Peggy Williams of Farmington, New Mexico. Fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren will also miss her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at The Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley, Oklahoma. Pastor Tom Hopper will preside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Marilyn's honor to the Friends of the Langley Public Library, P.O. Box 655, Langley, OK 74350.
