Marguerite Beth Sieben went to be with her Lord on July 05, 2019 in Vinita, Oklahoma. She was born June 14, 1951 at Grant Hospital, in Chicago, Illinois to Oscar William Sieben and Josephine Marie “Ruebhausen” Sieben.
In June of 1953 Marguerite moved to Vinita to the Prairie Schooner Motel with her family by train. At the age of five, in 1956, she went to St. Mary’s Training School in Clarks, Louisiana. At the age of seven she attended Sacred Heart Academy in Vinita for six months, and then the Holy Child School in Oklahoma City, which was run by the Carmelites. The school later moved to Moore, Oklahoma where she stayed until the age of twelve. Marguerite then moved home with her family and worked at the motel. In 1966, at the age of fifteen, she moved to Hissom Memorial Center in Sand Springs; living there until she was eighteen. On August 4th 1969 Marguerite moved back to Home of Hope where she lived in numerous locations until July 1st, 2007 when she moved into the family home in Vinita.
Marguerite has always been very involved with her family; spending weekends and attending church with them. She has worked at Home of Hope’s sheltered workshop, the office cleaning crew at Home of Hope, the cleaning crew at Grove High School, the Hornet’s Corner Diner, and at PDQ Convenience Store washing dishes. At the time of her passing she was working at Centsable Spending II, a resale Shop in Vinita.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Survivors include: One sister; Sister Mary Grace of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Two brothers; Bernard and Robert Sieben of Aurora, Colorado.
Marguerite’s rosary will be held Monday July 8th, 2019 at 7:00 pm at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Mass services will be held Tuesday July 9th, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church of Vinita. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
