Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555... Marlene Alta Lackey, 80 year old Disney resident, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Marlene was born in Lansing, Michigan on April 19, 1935 to Louie and Reva (Crowley) Smith. On June 10, 1955 in Gudea Springs, KS she was united in marriage to Bue Lackey. Marlene loved to garden and make crafts, attending several craft shows. She was a great housekeeper and took such pride in her home. Marlene was also a great cook and a wonderful mother. Her love and dedication to her family is something they will forever cherish. Survivors include her children: Van Reggie Smith and wife Kathy of California, Rick Lackey of California, Ninette Rose and husband Stephen of Vinita, Randy Lackey and wife Lordus of California, Richard Lackey and wife Martine of California, and Reva Pippin of Disney, sisters: Sharon Siebert of Maryland and Marie Houser and husband Joe of Arkansas City, KS, 18 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bue Lackey, and siblings: Winston Smith, Virginia Furgala, and Lonnie Hills Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel of Vinita, with funeral services starting at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Timpson Chapel Cemetery.
