Martha Spradling

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261.Martha Spradling, age 71, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at home with her family by her side, after battling cancer. Martha was born on June 7, 1946 in Cripple Creek, Tennessee, to Oscar and Gladys Boyd, and moved to California as a small child. Then in 1987, Martha moved to Grove and it was then that she became a real estate agent, working for Century 21 Offices the entire time until 2013, when Century 21 Rinker Agency closed and she transferred to Crye-Leike Realty. She retired last year after 30 years of selling real estate. Martha was consistently a multi-million producer and received the highest Century 21 award possible, the Centurion, outranking all other agents in the four state region. Martha met and married Tom in 1989 and they shared 29 beautiful years together. Together they shared 6 children and they loved anything that included their huge family of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Martha was an avid bowler and loved playing in tournaments with her many bowling friends. She also loved collecting antiques, working in the yard and traveling, whenever they managed to get away. Martha is survived by her husband Tom of the home, 3 daughters; Suzanne Sullivan Henderson and Mike of Grove, Terry Merritt and Kevin of Tulsa, and Sandra Hernandez and Sammy of Parker, CO, a son, Earl Sullivan and Charlotte of Grove, 2 step-sons; William Spradling of Webb City, MO, Terry Spradling and Kim of Webb City, MO. She is also survived by the 21 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Martha was preceded in death by her parents and Martha was the last of 7 siblings. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove from 6-8 pm.
