Mary Donaldson

ARNOLD MOORE & NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME, 710 S. DEWEY AVE., BARTLESVILLE, OK - Mary Helen Donaldson, 78, Bartlesville, Oklahoma resident, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Heritage Villa Nursing Center, Bartlesville. Mary was born October 2, 1935 at Ramona, Oklahoma to Joe Henton and Leona (Willcox) Henton. She was a lifelong resident of the Bartlesville area. She married Richard E. Donaldson on January 16, 1953 at Dewey, Oklahoma. Mary began a 35 year career with Phillips Petroleum Company, starting as a file clerk and retiring in 1991 as Director of Transportation. Mary attended East Cross United Methodist Church of Bartlesville. She was a member of the Jane Phillips Sorority and was a volunteer and Administrative Assistant to the Director of the annual Bartlesville Biplane Festival. Mary enjoyed golf, sewing, quilting, cooking and collecting recipes. She loved being with her grandkids and she collected state quarters for them. Survivors include her husband, Richard of the home; a daughter, Laura Lee Booher and her husband, Frank of Devol, Oklahoma; one son, Michael Donaldson and his wife, Sheryl of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one brother, Richard Henton and his wife, June of Opelika, Alabama; a sister, Carol Barrett and her husband, Dave of Lawton, Oklahoma; three grandsons, Cody and Ryan Booher, of Devol and Shane Donaldson of Broken Arrow and one great-grandson, Cason Booher. She was preceded in death by her parents; by two brothers, Loyd Lee Henton and Jay Henton and by a sister, Joan Ashton.
