Mary Jones-Young

Mary Jo Jones-Young, 72, of Hot Springs died April 22, 2009 at a local hospital. She as born July 11, 1936 in Waco, TX to James Lanier Tucker and Carrie Edith (Cannon) Tucker. She was a member of First Baptist Church, OK Mozart International Classical Music Organization, and the P.E.O. Preceding her in death are her parents, her first husband, Dr. Cy Young, and a sister, Martha Jane Tucker. Survivors include husband Jerry O. Jones of Hot Springs; son, Cal Young and wife Ann of Plano, TX; son, Cole Young and Jayme of Nashville, TN; son, Kurt Young and wife Cindy of Owasso, OK; son, Jason Jones and wife Elizabeth of Houston, TX; son, Jet Jones and wife Lisa of Mansfield, TX; brothers: Jim Young and wife Marge of Montgomery, Al; and Jack Young and wife Mary Ann of Mobile, AL; 14 grandchildren. Memorial Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009 in Bartlesville, OK at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Joe Dan Fowler officiating. Memorial service in Hot Springs will be at First Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Monday, 27, 2009 with Pastor John McCallum officiating. Burial will be in Oklahoma at Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Media Ministry of First Baptist Church in Hot Springs or the American Cancer Society.
