Mary Anne Ousley, 72, of Grove, Oklahoma died at 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at her home. Mary was born November 16, 1936 in Ecorse, Michigan to James and Grace (Gemeiner) Peters. She graduated high school in Fontana, California. Mary was an avid outdoorswoman who excelled in everything she did. She won the Washington State Champion Skeet Shoot. She loved fishing and bird hunting. She loved bowling and was a member in many local leagues. She enjoyed both country and Cajun music. She married George W. "Bill" Ousley. Following Bill's retirement in 1976 from the Air Force, they moved to Grove. Mary was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, George Peters and Louie Peters; and three children, David Guthary, Richard Guthary, and Cathy Guthary. Survivors include her daughter, Lori Hines and her husband Ken of Grove; two brothers, John Peters of Arlington, Texas, and James Peters of Denver, Colorado; two granddaughters, Kristen Hines and Lauren Hines both of Grove; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat "Boots". The family will receive friends at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at First United Methodist Church in Grove, Oklahoma with Reverend Randy Hamill officiating. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association. Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove is in charge of arrangements.
