Mary Woolman

November 21, 1933 — October 13, 2020

Mary Elizabeth “Beth” (Steeber) Woolman passed away October 13, 2020 in Vinita, Oklahoma. She was born November 21, 1933 in Big Cabin, Oklahoma the daughter of Jacob Randell Steeber and Dottie Dimple (Fox) Steeber. Beth went to school and graduated from Big Cabin High School; after graduation she moved to Camp Hampford and Richland Washington where she worked at the nuclear plant. She married Wilbur Dean Shults in 1955 and traveled to Germany while he was serving in the military. Beth and her family moved back to Big Cabin in 1959. She married Bob Woolman in 1966. Beth enjoyed attending the First Church of God for many years until her health would not allow it. She loved visiting with people and was an avid salesman; during her working years she worked at Munsingwear, Mcclellan’s Dime Store, Carters and also sold Avon for over forty years. Beth enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with family and was a gold card member of the Vinita Hornets where she enjoyed attending football and basketball games.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Wilbur and Bob, two grandsons, Johnny Dunfee Jr. and Talon Kristopher Willis, five brothers, George, Leroy, Glenn, Junior Steeber and an infant brother, one sister Eva Barber.

Survivors include, sons, Randell Shults and wife Sandra, Bob Woolman Jr. both of Vinita; daughters, Lavonna Jones and husband Delbert of Gerico Springs, Missouri, Wateena Ahrems of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Coweeta King of Gravette Arkansas; twenty-three grandchildren; sixty great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

There will be a family visitation Friday, October 16, 2020 in the Luginbuel Funeral Home chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 10:00 am in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Highsmith officiating. Burial will follow at Big Cabin Cemetery.
