Michael Capaldi

ARNOLD MOORE & NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME, BARTLESVILLE, OK - Michael Capaldi, age 84, and resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at his home. Michael Capaldi was born on August 20, 1930 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Michael Capaldi and Rose Marie (Barone) Capaldi. He was raised and received his education in the Philadelphia community. In June of 1948, he entered the U.S. Air Force and received his honorable discharge. Soon after his discharge from the service, he was recalled as a Sharpshooter in March of 1951 during the Korean War, receiving his second honorable discharge on October 3, 1952. In October of 1951, Michael married. He and his wife had two children, Rosemarie on June 11, 1952 and Michael on October 25, 1955. On May 16, 1981, Michael and Diane Joeb were united in marriage and they lived in Philadelphia, Florida and Oklahoma. Michael was a carpenter by trade. He also had many other interests, two of which were horseracing and pro-football Survivors include his good friend and former wife, Diane Joeb-Capaldi; daughter, Rose Marie; son, Michael; and grandchildren, Jammie, Jennifer, Mia, Jueliet, and Joseph Victor. Private family services for Mr. Capaldi will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home.
