Michael Crowell Jr.

Michael O'Dale Crowell, Jr., 56 year old Vinita resident, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Post-Acute Care Hospital in Tulsa. He was born on August 8, 1960 in Broken Arrow to Mike and Jeanette (Lewis) Crowell. Michael was a 1978 graduate of Bluejacket High School. He worked as a machinist, lastly at Pillsbury in Vinita. Michael was an avid hunter, fisherman, arrowhead collector and just enjoyed the outdoors. He also loved to play his guitar and listen to classic rock music, driving the tractor on the farm and loved being with his Rottweiler's. Michael was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Vinita. Michael had a very giving, kind and loving heart The family includes; his parents Mike and Jeanette Crowell of Bluejacket; sisters, Sharon Kennedy and husband Bob of Ponca City, Delores Harlan and husband Jeff of Miami; nieces and nephews, Nicholas Denman and wife Andrea, Hailey Boyer, Mitchell Boyer, Karlee Payton and Madison Payton; great niece and nephew, Seth and Ava Denman; also numerous Aunts, Uncles and other relatives survive. The Rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 6:00 PM in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Vinita. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Vinita with Rev. M. E. Cashen officiating. Interment will be at 3:30 PM at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, near Ludwig, Arkansas (Clarksville). Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
