Michael Hodson

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma- Michael Scott Hodson, age 29, passed away on February 1, 2014. Michael was born on August 1, 1984 in Claremore, OK. He is survived by his wife Caroline Edwards Hodson of Jay, OK, his parents, Jennifer and Steve Hodson of Kenwood, OK, one sister, Arrow and husband Zeke Olivarez of Lincoln, Arkansas, one brother, Russell and wife Sophia Hodson of Kenwood, OK, nephews, Bo Hodson and Cody Olivarez, nieces, Summer Lewis, Chloe Olivarez and Randi Hodson, grandparents, Jess and Mary Jumper of Jay, OK, and Verna Hodson of Seneca, MO, stepchildren, Jessica Chavez of Foyil, OK, Melissa Chavez and Michael Chavez of Florida, Pauline Chavez of New Mexico and two step grandchildren, Conner and Eason. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles, numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Hodson and uncle Bodee Jumper. Michael enjoyed drawing, writing, poems, attending stomp dances and pow wows, and family gatherings. He loved going for walks, playing marbles and crawdad hunting. He also enjoyed listening to music and watching movies. He liked going on long drives and looking at scenery with his wife, Caroline. Michael had an infectious smile everywhere he went. HE graduated from Jay High School in the class of 2004. He was a member of Sycamore Springs Baptist Church. Michael will be forever loved and greatly missed by all of his friends and family. He shallin our hearts forever, till we meet again. Funeral services for Michael will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Sycamore Springs Baptist Church in Jay, Oklahoma. A visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Jumper family home.
