Michael Sylvester

Michael Dell Sylvester, age 46 of Afton, died Sunday July 19, 2009. Michael was born in Ventura, California on April 19, 1963 the son of Jerry and Sonya (Gibson) Sylvester. He was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart Sheila Fredrick. Michael loved spending time with his family and enjoyed taking care of them. He also loved his truck, fishing, collecting knifes, and spending time on the computer. Him and his warm, loving smile will be greatly missed. Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents. Survivors include his wife Sheila Sylvester of Afton, parents Jerry and Sonya Sylvester and Bill and Maggie Fredrick, children Nicki Harvey and husband Steve of Strang, Michael Sylvester and wife Lindzey of Langley, Sarah Clark and husband Ben Olive, four brothers Martin Sylvester of Knoxville, Iowa, Mitchell Sylvester and wife Lori of Camdenton, MO, Matthew Sylvester and wife Sheila or Oregon, and Melvin Sylvester of Vinita, three grandchildren Daniel Harvey of Strang, Dillan Sylvester of Langley, and Lucas Clark of Cleora, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday July 23, 2009 at Kingdom Hall in Vinita. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
