Mickey Huggins

Mickey Joe Huggins, passed away at the Betty Ann Nursing Home in Grove, OK, on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the age of 57. Mickey was born February 10, 1955 in Fairland, OK the son of the late Edgar Joe Huggins and Alice Ruth Huffaker. Mickey grew up in the Hickory Grove area and worked for the airline manufacturing industry in Tulsa during the 1970's. Mickey enjoyed creating art. His writings, sculptures and paintings were deep in thought. Mickey was a pet lover, he frequently adopted strays that needed love. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Edgar and Charlie Huggins. He is survived by his nephews: Michael Huggins and his wife Stephanie and their child Kabe of Grove, OK, Brad Huggins of Flower Mound, TX, and Jonathan Huggins of Tulsa; and nieces: Heather Nelson and her husband Johnny of Oklahoma City, OK, and Kristy Caswell and her children Harley and Kaylee of Grove, OK, and Kathy Huggins of Broken Arrow, OK. The funeral service will be held at the Hickory Grove Community Center, Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 10AM with Mr. Doug Rainbolt, presiding. The burial will follow at the Fairland Cemetery in Fairland, OK. There will be no visitation in the days prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK.
