Mike Minson

Luginbuel's South Grand Lake Chapel of Langley. 918-782-4400. Michael Wayne Minson, 56 year old resident of Pensacola, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was born on February 24, 1960 in Vinita to Donny and Alma (Epperson) Minson. Mike was a 1978 graduate of Adair High School and had worked for Hayes LP Gas, before he became disabled. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, deer hunting, pheasant hunting, and going fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Donny L. Minson. The family includes: his daughter, Misty Jean Girdner and husband Brian of Claremore; his mother Alma Minson of Pensacola; sisters, Sherry Hayes and husband John of Pensacola, Gayle Minson of Tulsa; two grandchildren, Atticus and Lyla Girdner of Claremore; his longtime companion, Sharon Herron of the Home; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley, with Pastor Freddie Griffin officiating.
