Mildred Jackson

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK....918-786-2261.....Mildred L. Jackson of Zena, Oklahoma passed away on July 9, 2014 at the Monroe Manor in Jay, Oklahoma. Mildred was born on October 19, 1937 in Frankfort, Kansas. She was the daughter of Eugene Dennis and Nettie Lawrence (Smith) Osborne. Mildred was united in marriage to William O. Jackson on June 18, 1956 in Augusta, Kansas. Bill and Mildred were blessed with seven children. Mildred was known for her fried chicken and her homemade rolls and cinnamon rolls. Mildred loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Margrett Hodson and one brother Roy Osborne. Mildred is survived by one sister, Betty Jean Reavis of Augusta, KS and her seven children; David Wayne Jackson and his wife Jessie of Sellerburg, IN, Lawrence Edward Jackson and his wife Dena of Zena, OK, Orvel Eugene Jackson and his wife Janet of Ark City, KS, Dorothy Marie Goodson and her husband BZ of Ponca City, OK, Jerry Dean Jackson of Zena, OK, Betty Jane "Stub" Jackson and her husband Frankie of Wyandotte, OK and Billy Joe "Hogie" Jackson of Zena, OK. Mildred was also blessed with 26 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Mildred's life will be held at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Community Building in Zena, OK.
