Mildred Moore

A native of Bartlesville, Mildred Carolyn Easter was born March 29, 1913. She was the daughter of the late Alexander Campbell and Carrie May (Wicks) Easter. She was reared and received her education in Bartlesville where she attended the Garfield Elementary School and graduated with the Senior Class of 1931 from the Bartlesville Central Junior-Senior High School. She continued her education and was a student at the Oklahoma State University from which she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1935 in Business Administration. Mildred and William Franklin Moore, Jr. were married on December 14, 1940 and he preceded her in death on September 7, 1967. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Bartlesville; member of the CH Chapter of P.E.O. Sisterhood; the Tau Beta Chapter of Chi Omega Fraternity; and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #142, of which she had been a Past Worthy Matron. Mildred was a wonderful homemaker. Following Mr. Moore's death, she worked outside the home as a receptionist for Brewer, Worten, Robinett law firm for a short time. After that, she worked for her brother-in-law, Paul Endacott in his office for over 20 years. Surviving Mrs. Moore are her son, William Franklin "Frank" Moore, III and his wife, Pamela, of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; granddaughter, Emily Marie Moore, of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania; grandson, Adam Weston Moore of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; five nieces and five nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sister and brother-in-law, Lucille Endacott and Paul; brother and sister-in-law, Wallace Easter and Miriam; brother and sister-in-law, Harry Easter and Doris; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret "Pegg" Richardson and Garland; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John Malcolm Moore and Jewell.
