Grove, Ok. - Mildred Nadine Sewell, 82, died Monday August 7, 2006 at Integris Grove General Hospital, Grove, Oklahoma. She was born on November 10, 1923 in Sedan, Kansas to Carl and Piccola (Robinson) Mills. Nadine graduated from Sedan High School and attended nursing school in Coffeyville, Ks. She married Franklin Leon Sewell on October 15, 1944 in Fredonia, Kansas. Nadine worked for the Montgomery County Clerk as a secretary in the Abstract Department. She moved to Grove from Coffeyville, Kansas in 1986. Survivors include her husband, Franklin of Grove; two daughters, Sheryl Ann Duggan and her husband Michael of Owasso, Ok., and Carla Boone and her husband, William of Bartlesville, Ok.; four brothers, James Mills, John Mills, Earl Wayne Mills all of Sycamore, Kansas, Burl Allen Mills of Independence, Kansas; one sister Judy Vincent of Murray, Utah; six grandchildren, Daniel Ray Duggan, Terry Lee Duggan, Kimberley Ann Young, Mendy Lynn Duggan, Heath A. Potter and Adam E. Potter; two step grandchildren, Kimberle Satterlee and Ashley Boone; five great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2006 at First Baptist Church, 220 S. Penn Ave. in Independence, Kansas. The family asks that instead of flowers, donations be made to the Grove Senior Citizens Center, 145 E. O'Daniel Pkwy., Grove, Ok. 74344.
