Nancy Hill

Nancy Arden Hill, 82, of Cleora, passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 25,2019. She was born February 15, 1937 to Woodrow Wilson Woodall and Allene (Coleman) Woodall. She attended Northeastern State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Library Science. She taught in the Salina and Afton Schools. On September 10, 1955 she married Pharis Joe Hill in Vinita. Nancy enjoyed sewing, reading, caring for her gardens, playing games, and spending time with her family playing games of chance. She especially enjoyed watching and feeding birds. Above all, Nancy loved her family. Her children and grandchildren all had a special place in her heart. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding Mrs. Hill in death are her parents Woodrow and Allene Woodall; her husband, Pharis; a son, Chet William Hill; a grandchild, Joseph Lloyd; siblings, Micky Hankins, Gary Woodall, Sandra Porter, and Susan Lynn Woodall Buchanan.

Survivors include her children Cynthia Jo Lloyd, of Ellsworth Kansas, Curtis Arland Hill, of Cleora, Janet Lynn Gibbs and husband Joe, of Choctaw, Ok.; a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Hill; grandchildren, Matthew Lloyd, Maegan Lloyd, Jeremiah Gibbs, Joshua Gibbs, Christal Thomas, Casey Hill, Kyle Hill, Cherokee Hill, Caleb Hill; siblings, Deanie and husband Gary Johnson, Robert Woodall, Trish and husband Kent Jowell ; 7 great grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.

Memorial services for Nancy Hill will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel, 332 N. Scraper, Vinita, Ok. 74301. Condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com or see our Facebook page.
