Neva Jean Gault, 88 year old lifetime resident of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on November 11, 2019 at Integris Grove Hospital.
Neva was born on June 4, 1931 to Haskell Carr Walker and Wilma Leola (Miller) Walker. She was united in marriage to James “Jim” Gault in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 5, 1948. Neva was a graduate of Grove High School in 1949. Neva worked along side her husband on the family farm, with all the many chores that involves harvesting crops to working the cattle. She also worked for Nichol’s farms in their Egg Houses, Wayne Burt’s Machine Shop and retired from Precision Machine Shop. Neva was very family oriented and took great pride in her home. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her beautiful flowers and was an amazing cook. Neva was a member of the Southwest City Baptist Church.
Neva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim Gault in 2017, and sister in-laws Renabell Martin and Joanna Howerton.
She is survived by her three sons: Mike Gault and wife Ethel; John Gault and wife Teresa, and Jerry Gault and wife Diana all of Grove, her sister Martha Elaine Holt of Cherryvale, Kansas. She was blessed with six grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 pm, Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Grove Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for 10 AM, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Southwest City First Baptist Church with Pastor Rob Grimm officiating. Neva will be laid to rest in the Olympus North Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma.
