Nichlaus Ott McClure was born on June 29,1965 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Bill and Vera (White) McClure. He was the youngest of three children, and grew up in Crescent, Oklahoma attending Crescent Public Schools. He is regarded by his classmates as being kind, respectful, mischievous, and for his one-of-a-kind smile. After graduating high school Nick pursued a career in law enforcement highlighting his passion for protecting others. He went on to start his own private
investigation company and specialized in corporate security and executive protection, all while being his family and friend’s favorite Mr. Fix It! Nick loved racing his quarter mile hydro drag boat, he was an OU Sooner Football fanatic (BOOMER!), he was an avid reader, he enjoyed meeting new people, Nick never met a stranger.  He was always up to sharing his views on his favorite topics! Most of all Nick was a loyal friend, a devout provider, and a loving, protective son, brother, husband and father.
Nick leaves behind his wife, Dawn (Countryman)  McClure, daughter Sarah Slayden (Tony Slayden), daughter Trinity McClure, and son Malachi McClure. His mother Vera Henderson, sister Tamra Johnson (Jay Johnson), and brother Bill McClure (Melynda McClure) Father-in-law Howard Countryman. Grandchildren Louie Cole Harris, Leyton Harris, Angel Harris, Emelia Heskett (Chase Heskett), and R.J. Harris. Great Grandson Archer Heskett.
Nick is proceeded in death by his father Bill McClure, John Rout, Wayne Henderson, his mother-in-law Neva Countryman, and Odessa “Aunt May” Ray.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at 10:00 am with services starting at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Crossroads Church. Nick will be laid to rest in the Ballard Cemetery in Bernice, Oklahoma.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
