Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261 Norman Wayne Ferguson, 74, resident of Jay, Oklahoma, passed away on January 18, 2018. Norman was born on September 7, 1943 in Greenville, Texas. He was the son of Norman William and Carolyn (Carrico) Ferguson. Norman was a graduate of Joplin High school. He was united in marriage to Margaret "Friday" Butler (Sloan) Ferguson on December 7, 1979 in Oklahoma City. Norman worked in management and sales of industrial equipment. In 2011, Norman and Friday started the "Caring Kitchen" soup kitchen and pantry that is now located in Jay, Oklahoma. Norman was enjoying his retirement, riding his horses and raising Hereford cattle. He was a member of the Jay First Baptist Church. Norman was preceded in death by his parents Norman William and Carolyn Ferguson of Joplin, MO. He is survived by his wife Margaret "Friday" Ferguson of the home, his four children; Kassie Webb of Canton, GA, his son Jerry Sloan and his wife Leigh Ann of Edmond, OK, his daughter Trisha Steel of Grove, OK, his daughter Meshelle Worsham of Carthage, TX, his sister Linda Blankenship of Arizona. Norman was blessed with twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Memorial services were held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Jay's First Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Faught officiating.
