Norman Foreman

Norman Lee Foreman, passed away at his home in Colcord, OK, on Monday, March 18, 2013 at the age of 79. Norman was born March 29, 1933 in Delaware County, OK, the son of the late Wickliffe Foreman and Frona Cornshucker. Norman grew up on a farm and attended school in the Clouds Creek area. During his working years, Norman worked in Colorado in the broom corn fields and later as a Chicken Catcher for the Live Haul Department with Brady Hall and Hudson Foods. Norman enjoyed the outdoors which included fishing, hunting and sitting on his porch swing while he carved on wood, but most of all he loved to be with his family, especially his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his wife Jerolyn (Jerri) Foreman; children: Gary Don Foreman, Rodney Foster, and Freda Forman; and siblings: Archie Foreman, Hyder Foreman, Turner Forman, Johnny Teehee, Dorothy Youngbird, and Maggie Buck. He is survived by his children: Daniel Foster and his wife Pam of Bokoshe, OK, Lonnie Foster and his wife Vanessa of Ardmore, OK, John Foster and his wife Teresa of Locust Grove, OK, Kaye Forman and her husband Floyd of Jay, OK, Dana Mammedaty of Colcord, OK, and Ramona Stephens and her husband Rick of Hackett, AR; 25grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; siblings: Tommy Foreman, Bud Foreman, Mary Creekkiller, and Corine Stover; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The funeral service will be held at the New Clouds Creek Baptist Church in Colcord, OK on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 2PM with Pastor Eric Creekkiller and Pastor Chris Mammedaty, presiding. The vocalists for the funeral will be Denise King and Regina Creekkiller. Visitation will be held from 6PM to 8PM on Wednesday evening at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK. Friends and family may leave notes of encouragement by viewing Norman's Book of Memories at www.honoringmemories.com. Casket bearers will be Donny Foreman (Little Boley), Terry Mouse (Tiger), Kevin Forman (Stud), Dustin McKibben (Squirrel), Rodney Shotpouch (Groundhog) & Joseph Beck (Round Man). Honorary casket bearers will be Aaron Foreman, Ray Hayes, Darrell Passmore, Chris Mammedaty (Junkyard).
