Norman Wygant

Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinita - Norman Albert Wygant passed away Friday, March 2, 2018, at his home in Eucha, Oklahoma. He was born March 7, 1948 in Oil City, Pennsylvania, to Norman L. and Dorothy B. (Riley) Wygant. Norman worked many years for Sam's and Wal Mart starting out in the tire shop and eventually being promoted to store manager. He worked across the country including Texas, Florida, and Maryland to name just a few. On February 12, 1994 he married Martha Sue Bishop in New Orleans, Louisiana. Norman enjoyed playing games of chance as well as reading, watching television, professional wrestling, and going to the movies. He was an avid Pittsburg Steeler and Oklahoma Sooner fan. Above all he loved his family. Norman had a special place in his heart for his wife, children, and siblings. He made friends all across the country and he will be missed by all. Mr. Wygant is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Dorothy Wygant, a step-daughter Cindy Hobbs, and a sister Linda Spangler. Surviving Mr. Wygant are his wife Sue Wygant of the home, one son, Norman Albert Wygant Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a step-son Lee Hobbs of Claremore, Oklahoma, siblings, Dale Wygant of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Carol Hutchison of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Karen Toplovich of Tulsa, Oklahoma, many other relatives and a host of friends. The family is hosting friends at their home 1:00 pm, Sunday, March 4, 2018 at their home in Eucha. Friends are encouraged to come by and visit.
