Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261....Patsy Jane Bland, 83 year old, Grove, Oklahoma resident passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 in Grove, Oklahoma. Patsy was born in Parsons, Kansas on June 13, 1931 to William E. and Florence Elizabeth (Harding) Davis. She would later graduate High school from Parsons. Patsy married Alvin Bland on December 24, 1948. She worked in banking before her artistic talents won over and she opened her own art store / studio. She made, sold and taught many things from stained glass to porcelain dolls to oil and water color paintings. Patsy was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann, a sister Dixie Woodrum, and a brother Walter Davis. Patsy is survived by her husband Alvin of the home, daughters Ramona Jane Thiel of Frederick, Maryland, Julia D. Parsons and husband Steve of Basehor, Kansas, and Tori K. Wooster of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Patsy is also survived by six grandchildren, Chelsea, Tara, John Ashley, Lindsay, and Denise, and two great grandchildren Tori and Lennon. Services for Patsy will be held 5:00 pm on Wednesday November 26, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church, West Wing, in Grove, Oklahoma. There will be a visitation and reception directly following the service. Donations may be left at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Patsy's name to the Grove Christian help Center, Christian Medical Clinic of Grand Lake, and Grove United Methodist Church.
