Peggy Jean Easter (Hase) 83, of Hickory Grove went to be with her Savior on November 9, 2024, in Grove, Oklahoma. 

Peggy was born on December 16, 1940, in Tulsa to the late John Otto and Dessie Mae (Palmer) Hase. She graduated from Grove High School.  On October 11, 1957, she married Theron Oliver Easter in Miami, Oklahoma. In 1977, she graduated from NEO A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma with a degree in Elementary Education. She also studied at NSU in Tahlequah. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed attending services and events with her church family. Peggy held many jobs in her lifetime, including local restaurants, nursing homes, and at the bowling alley. She also helped her husband run a custom hay cutting business for many years. Peggy enjoyed bowling and competed in tournaments all across the nation. She also liked to crochet and do other craft projects, as well as fishing and raising farm animals.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, John Otto and Dessie Mae Hase, her husband Theron Oliver Easter, their son Theris J.O. Easter, two sisters Carol Sue Hase and Elizabeth Viola Easter and a brother Otto Morrie Hase.

She is survived by two sons; Marvin Dale Easter and his wife Karla and Timothy Owen Easter, four grandsons; Rocky DeSilva, Austin DeSilva, Levi Easter and Winston Easter, six great-grandchildren; Brianna, Korbin, Koah, Khi, Julian, and Rosalee, all of the Grove area. Peggy is also survived by her siblings, Linda Weiesnbach and husband Timothy of Sand Springs, Leona Lewis and husband David of Oakhurst, Roberta Morris of Mannford, and John Hase and wife Debbie of Jennings, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm, Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Samuel Smith at Freewill Baptist Church on November 14, 2024 starting at 10 AM. Internement will be held at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
