Perry Cantrell

Perry Cecil (Bunk) Cantrell, age 85 of Springfield Missouri passed away April 29th 2023.

Cecil was born December 31st 1937 in Yuma Arizona to Walter and Opal Cantrell.  After going to school in Noel Missouri he joined the Army for many years and was in the Army Reserves after being honorably discharged.

Cecil married Marjo Newborn on October 29th 1958 in Miami Oklahoma and they had four children. Cecil wore many hats when it came to work and his many talents never left him looking for work. Work always found him, so this came in very handy as they never stayed in one place for long the Cantrell family was always on the move.

Cecil was preceded in death by both parents Walter and Opal, one brother Jimmy Dean, one sister Arbra, and wives Marjo and Alfa Mae.

Cecil is survived by his current wife Wanda Cantrell; four children Sandra of Kansas, Carolyn of Missouri, James of Oklahoma, and Dwayne and wife Trish Cantrell of Oklahoma; one sister Bonnie Lou, three brothers Charlie, Bob and Ray; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday May 4th at Worley funeral home in Grove Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held graveside at 10:00 a.m. Friday May 5th at Lee’s cemetery in Gravette Arkansas.
