Polly Bridges Farr, a resident of Bartlesville died Saturday Morning, May 6, 2006 at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville. Funeral services for Mrs. Polly Bridges Farr will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church of Bartlesville. Reverend Buz Wierick of the First United Methodist Church of Bartlesville, Ok. will preside over the services. Funeral services are under the direction of the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Polly Bridges (Nott) Farr was born in Miami, Oklahoma, May 3, 1927, the daughter of John Nott and Lilly Mae (Faulkner) Nott. She was raised and educated in Miami, Oklahoma. She also attended the Northeastern Oklahoma Jr. College in Miami, Oklahoma. After graduating NEO with her Associates' Degree, she came to Bartlesville to work for Phillips Petroleum Company as a legal secretary. Mr. George Allyn Bridges and Polly Bridges (Nott) were united in marriage in 1949 and made their home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Mr. Bridges preceded her in death in 1972. Polly was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was an avid bridge player. She enjoyed traveling and went on several trips with friends throughout the United States and Europe. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be dearly missed. Mrs. Polly Bridges Farr is survived by two children; one son Bob Bridges and his wife Sharon of Houston, Texas, one daughter Nancy Delozier and her husband Matt of Broken Arrow, Ok; four grandchildren Tyler and Kelly Bridges of Houston, Texas, Mindy and Mollie Lyons of Broken Arrow, Ok; and a special friend Tom Wiggins of Bartlesville. Mrs. Polly Bridges Farr is preceded in death by her husband Mr. George Allyn Bridges, her parents John Nott and Lilly Mae Nott and one brother Bud Nott.
