Randal Stoddard, 66-year-old Zena resident, passed away unexpectedly on December 15, 2023. Randal was born in Frontenac, KS on December 10, 1957, to George and Nelly Mae (Shaffer) Stoddard. He graduated from Frontenac High School in 1975 and went on to pursue education and a career in land surveying. He was united in marriage to Carlie Ann Walters in 1990 and she preceded in death in 2003. Randal was a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. It gave him great joy to help others any chance he could. He was also a man of many talents. He enjoyed working on his old cars, could do plumbing, electrical work, you name it he could probably fix it. These talents made him an asset at his part time job at Lowe’s. The highlight of his life, however, was being a papa. He loved granddaughters with all he had.
Left to carry on his legacy are his daughter Rayven Stoddard, granddaughter Kieara Fields, sisters: LaMarius Peace and Arlene Crepinsek, nieces and nephews: Kathy, Keaton, and Kyle Smalley, and Brenda Lee and all their family, and companion Brenda Beavers. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Alfred Stoddard and Mavis Smalley, brother-in-law Bob Peace, and granddaughter Nevaeh Stoddard.
