Raymond Anderson

Raymond Gerald Anderson, 80 year old Grove resident, passed away on November 26, 2021.  Raymond was born in Miami, OK on November 12, 1941 to Raymond L and Evelyn (Phelps) Anderson.  He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Marilyn Bergman, on August 5, 1964.  He proudly served in the Army as part of the Korea Defense.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #187, the Scottish Rite, American Legion Post 178, and served on the Grove Veteran’s Ritual Team.  Raymond had a love for life and nature.  He enjoyed birdwatching and was a fishing and gun enthusiast.  He also had a thirst for knowledge and never ceased learning new things.  He was witty and fun loving, and cherished time with his family.

His legacy includes his wife Marilyn of the home, daughter Karen Anderson-Burton and husband James of Lake Charles, LA, granddaughters: Kasey McHenry and husband Steven and Kourtney Davis all of Houston, TX, and brother Mike Anderson of Miami, OK.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved uncle Jack Anderson, and brother Ronnie Anderson.

Arrangements are entrusted to Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home.  Memorial services will be held at a later date.
