Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma, 918-253-3222. Richard Tagg, 63 year old resident of Jay, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017. Richard was born on November 17, 1953 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was the son of Mart and Bessie (Hilderbrand) Tagg. He was a graduate of Kansas High School. Richard worked construction in his younger days, and was a self employed automotive mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mowing his lawn on his riding mower. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Mart and Bessie Tagg, two brothers; Levi Tagg and Donald Tagg, one infant child, four infant grandchildren and one infant great grandchild. He leaves behind to carry on his legacy his son Richard Tagg, Jr. and his wife Mariah of Jay, Oklahoma, seven daughters; LaDonna Stith and her husband Brian of Jay, Oklahoma, LaRonna Tagg of Adair, Oklahoma, Sheanna Tagg of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Felicia O'Field and her husband Phillip of Salina, Oklahoma, Rowenna Daniels of Rocky Ford, Oklahoma, Ronetta Lewis and her husband Bobby of Jay, Oklahoma and Batina Johnson and her husband Jeremiah of Jay, Oklahoma. Richard will be greatly missed by his two brothers Charlie Tagg and Jerry Tagg and his wife Velma all of Kenwood, Oklahoma. Richard was blessed with 33 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, many-many friends that he thought of as family. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma. Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Euwasha Baptist Church. Richard will be laid to rest in the Euwasha Cemetery in Kenwood, Oklahoma.
