Robert Gay

Robert Craig Gay ‘RC", age 86, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Integris Grove General Hospital. Mr. Gay was born February 25, 1923 in Ada, Oklahoma to John H. Gay and Mary Jane Gay (Slagle). He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Grove. He loved to fish and take his grandkids fishing and hunting. His life revolved around his wife and family. He also loved Big Band Music and was a veteran in WWII. RC is survived by sons, Robert Craig Gay II (Deborah) of Kansas City, MO and Mark Allen Gay ( Susan Doublehead) of Grove, sister, Georgie Shirley of Texas, grandchildren, Robert C. Gay III of Patuxent River , MD, Mark A. Gay Jr. of Farmington, NM, Jonathan Tyler Gay of Stillwater, OK, John Gay of Kansas City, MO and Sherri Williams of Kansas City, MO, great grandchildren, Robert Craig Gay IV, Kyle Sprague, Zachary Williams, Jessica Williams and Jonathan Gay, sister-in-laws, Carol Gay of Amarillo, TX, Millie Gay of Sulphur, OK and Maxine Mann of Del Norte, CO. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Lorene E. Gay (Gulick), brothers, Roger W. Gay and John A. Gay, sister, Katherine Spencer. Visitation and Story Time will be June 2, 2009, 11a.m. at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove followed by a graveside service at Olympus Cemetery at 12 p.m. Rev. Randall Hamill of First United Methodist Church will be officiating. The services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK.
