Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home (918) 786-2261 - Robert "Bob" Franklin Henkle, 84 year old Grove, Oklahoma resident passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016. Bob was born on July 27, 1932 in Macomb, Illinois to Charles and Louise (Greener) Henkle. He was in the Boy Scouts and worked his way all the way up to Eagle Scout. After high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Bob attended Western Illinois University and later went on to earn a Master's Degree from Bradley University. Bob had several careers over the years. He was a high school teacher and coach in Payson, Illinois, a very successful stock broker and later company vice president in Chicago, Illinois, and president and owner of Grand Country Homeworks Inc. in Grove, Oklahoma. Bob was a Member of the Grove Rotary Club and the Moose Lodge, a guest columnist in the Grove Sun and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Grove, Oklahoma. Bob is survived by his wife Earlene of the home, children, Cathy Cook & husband Chris of Columbia, MO, Mary Lou Ortiz & husband Benny of Tulsa, OK, John Henkle & wife Cris of Carterville, MO, and step daughter Michelle Malmstrom of Chicago, IL. Bob's surviving grandchildren are, Matt Hartz & wife Annika of Hamburg, Germany Tim Hartz & wife Andrea of Clark, MO, Amanda Fierge & husband Shane of Clarksville, TN Ana Hartz of Columbia, MO, Danielle Henkle of Joplin, MO, Emily Madsen & husband Steven of Raleigh, NC, Katherine Fitzsimmons & husband Logan of Tulsa, OK, Alexandra Stout & husband Kevin of Tulsa, OK, Benjamin Ortiz, II of Tulsa, OK, Garrison Henkle of Carterville, MO, Colton Henkle of Carterville, MO, Mia Malmstrom of Chicago, IL. Bob's survivng great grandchildren are Mason Fierge of Clarksville, TN, Liam Fierge of Clarksville, TN, Jeremiah Hartz of Columbia, MO, Olivia Hartz of Columbia, MO, Natalie Stout of Tulsa, OK, Talon Stout of Tulsa, OK, Daxton Stout of Tulsa, OK, Hadley Hartz of Clark, MO, Noah Madsen of Raleigh, NC, and Leah Hartz of Hamburg, Germany. Funeral services for Bob will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday January 2, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Grove, Oklahoma, Pastor Randy Hamill will officiate. Serving as Pallbearers will be Benjamin Ortiz, Dick Hauser, Tim Hartz, Kevin Stout, Logan Fitsimmons and Chris Cook. Honorary Pallbearers will be Shane Fierge, Steven Madsen and Matt Hartz. A visitation for Bob will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday January 1, 2017 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Notes of encouragement for the family may be left at www.honoringmemories.com. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bob's name to Ronald McDonald House Charities, 6102 S Hudson Ave Tulsa, OK 74136 The family would also like to personally thank Good Shepherd Hospice of Grove, Oklahoma for their help during this time. Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
