Rodney Tacker

Rodney Lee Tacker, 39, of Jay, Oklahoma, went home to be with the Lord following an auto accident on Saturday, February 9, 2008. He was born April 5, 1968 in Bentonville, Arkansas to Jerry Tacker and Shirley Kirby. Rodney was a welder in the poultry industry and loved to work on cars He loved to spend time with his family and to cookout. He married Angie Jones on February 22, 1987 at his parent's home. They had four sons: Jarrod, Jamie, Smokey, and Jarvis. There is a daughter -in-law to be expecting his first grandchild. Rodney is also survived by his parents Jerry and Shirley Tacker, brothers Galen and wife Shelly, Aaron and wife Jonni, sister Julie and husband Ray Jones, paternal grandmother Arlene Tacker, many aunts and uncles, especially Max Kirby, mother-in-law Ruth Crow and father-in-law Joe Jones and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Rodney Lee Tacker will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Mt. Hermon Church in Jay, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Piney Cemetery east of Jay, Oklahoma. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral home in Jay, Oklahoma from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Jay, Oklahoma is in charge of arrangements.
