Ronald Peace

Ronald Lester Peace left this life on October 22, 2011 at the age of 67. Ronald was born in Nowata County on January 10, 1944 to Leon and Annie (Wise) Peace. Les was a member of the First Baptist Church (Willow) in Nowata, Oklahoma. He worked for the Nowata County District 2, after many years of service, due to illness, he retired. Three brothers preceded him in death, Bernard, Arthur Lee, and James. Les leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Emma Jean; four sons, Wayne and Adwin of Nowata, Oklahoma, John (Angie) Peace of Vinita, Oklahoma, Ronald II (Jackie) Peace of Arlington, Texas; one granddaughter, Karley Peace of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Robert (Janice) Peace and Gregory Peace of Nowata, Oklahoma; eight sisters, Margaret (Darnell) Curtis, Reta Nash, Wanda (Thomas) Hill of Nowata, Oklahoma, LaVera West and Beverly Peace of Kansas City, Missouri, Elaine Hughes of Wichita, Kansas, Ilene (Ceaser) Langston and Gloria Lewis of Texas. Funeral Services for Mr. Peace will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the First Baptist Church at 252 North Willow in Nowata, Oklahoma with Rev. Ralph Beavers officiating.
